At the women’s session of General Conference last night, our prophet, President Nelson, issued an invitation to all women and girls ages 8+ to read and finish the Book of Mormon between now and the end of the year. With the end of the year being just over 12 weeks away, I have created a reading chart (President Nelson’s 2018 Book of Mormon Challenge Reading Chart) that will help you stay on schedule to accomplish this worthwhile goal.
If you don’t know what General Conferences are, they are the semiannual worldwide gatherings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Instructions
Though there are 12 weeks remaining in the year, I have created a 10-week reading schedule to allow those who don’t start right away a better opportunity to participate, to give extra wiggle room (because life happens), and to help prevent finishing on December 31st at midnight.
The President Nelson’s 2018 Book of Mormon Challenge Reading Chart is broken down into 10 weeks. Each week has a page range that should be completed. And each day suggests the chapters to be read. On average, you’ll read about 7.5 pages per day.
This challenge may seem overwhelming. Remember, President Nelson’s challenge was inspired, he would not have extended the invitation if he knew it wasn’t possible, and the blessings from doing our best to complete this challenge will far outweigh the sacrifices required. We can do this!
