Step-by-Step Milk Cow Craft Tutorial
Check out the 5 easy steps below for making your own milk cow craft. (Tip: I wish I had prepped my milk by wiping my jug with a paper towel before starting to draw. I did this craft immediately after coming home from the grocery store with the milk, and the time it spent out of the fridge on the way home made it have a little condensation on the outside of the milk gallon which made my marker not work perfectly. If you do this craft right after the milk has been in the fridge or if you wipe it down right before, then yours will probably turn out even better than mine!)
Step 1: Draw the cow’s head outline
Using one of the blank sides of your milk gallon, trace the edge of the side to make the head outline of your milk cow craft. (I followed a line already on the milk gallon.)
Step 2: Draw the cow’s mouth and nose
Once you’ve got your head outline you can draw on your cow’s snout (where the mouth and nose are) with 4 simple lines. Feel free to copy my lines below.
Step 3: Draw the cow’s eyes
About halfway between the snout and the top of the head, you can draw the cow’s eyes. Feel free to draw them however you like.
Step 4: Draw the cow’s spots
Here comes the fun part of the milk cow craft! Draw on two little horns at the top of the cow’s head and then… draw on the cow’s spots! Avoid the snout, eyes, and horns, but make black splotches wherever you like.
Step 5: Add the cow’s ears
Only one more step for your milk cow craft! Using your pair or scissors and white paper, cut out two ears to put on your cow. If you like, you can draw a spot on one or both of the ears. Then, tape the ears to the cow milk jug. I folded my tape in half (so that the sticky side was facing out) and then stuck one side to the back of an ear and the other to the milk gallon. Doing it that way lets the ears flop around.
